MARATHON 2006
PTRC’s first attempt at organized fundraising was through the 3rd Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon ( January 15, 2006) which is a fun filled platform for NGO’s to raise money. There was an overwhelming response from friends and well wishers from different age groups. We had a group of 174 enthusiasts participating in the 7km Dream Run, 23 in the Half Marathon Category, 1 running the Full Marathon and not to forget 3 in the Senior Citizen’s Race. PTRC also had the support of 4 Dream Teamers and 2 Corporate Challenges, namely, Television Eighteen India Ltd (TV18) and Prudential ICICI Asset Management …An encouraging start to something that we look forward to each year.
