INTRODUCTORY SERIES OF TALKS ON CONTEMPORARY PSYCHOANALYTICAL THINKING(2003)

In the series of talks conducted by the Psychoanalytical Therapy and Research Centre, practioners from the field of Psychoanalysis and Child Psychotherapy will attempt to make to professionals and student that are interested in developing their understanding of current applications of psychoanalytical ideas. Each presentation will be followed by time for discussion.

Seminars would be held on Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at Room no 97 of the Lady Ratan Tata Medical Center, Cooperage, Mumbai - 400021. all are welcome to the seminars and there would be no fee. Though it would be preferable for the participants to the attend individual seminars.

The psychoanalytical therapy and research centre conducts a number of training programmes in the fields of child psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. These include the Tavistock Model Bombay course in psychoanalytical observational studies, the training course in psychoanalytical psychotherapy with children, parents and young people and adult psychological training. Attending this series of talks would also give the participants on opportunity to meet with the faculty of these courses and to find out more about these professional training programmes. The next intake for these courses would be in july 2003.
